Certainty key for Canada’s CCS industry

Project developers need clarity on long-term carbon pricing and streamlining of federal and provincial regulation, president and CEO of International CCS Knowledge Centre tells Carbon Economist

Canada has long been a leader in CCS and has the potential to remain so, with a large number of major projects nearing FID. The country has five of the world’s 30 commercial CCS developments, accounting for 15pc of global capacity.
