Wind and solar approach critical deployment level
As technologies approach milestone, they could scale even faster
Wind and solar are approaching a 10pc share of global electricity production and will likely reach the milestone at some point this year. The technologies reached a 9.4pc share last year, up from 4.65pc in 2015, according to data from UK based thinktank Ember.
