Two wind turbine manufacturers have reported disruption due to cyberattacks since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Germany’s Nordex faced a cybersecurity incident on 31 March, prompting it to shut down IT systems across multiple locations and business units as a precautionary measure. “The intrusion was noted in an early stage and response measures initiated immediately in line with crisis management protocols,” the company says.
