Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. — Petrobras, known commonly as Petrobras, is a part-state-owned integrated oil and gas company. Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, the company has over 75,000 employees in 19 countries. The company was founded in 1953 as Brazil’s national oil company. It is one of Latin America’s largest companies.
