Sky's the limit for Gazpromneft-Aero
Gazpromneft's jet-fuelling division has big plans for growth, domestically and abroad. Its chief executive, Vladimir Egorov, answered our questions over email
Q. In the first quarter of 2017, the company's "Into the wing" refuelling volumes rose by 3% more than in the same period in 2016. What does this increase tell us about change in Gazpromneft-Aero's business? A. Gazpromneft-Aero is a young company by global aviation standards, celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2017. It was launched as Gazprom Neft's dedicated jet fuel business in 2008, with the plan to grow retail sales, actively invest in state-of-the-art infrastructure and establish a global network of fuelling stations in Russia and abroad.
