Ghana poised for short and medium-term oil boosts
New wells at the Jubilee field will lift output in 2023, while the Pecan field offers longer-term prospects if development can be progressed
Ghana’s oil production is set to rebound in the second half of this year, but the country’s hopes for a broader and slightly longer-term revival in its upstream depend on the previously stalled offshore Pecan development. The developers of Ghana’s flagship Jubilee oilfield recently completed works to raise output.
