ADNOC diversifies its decarb strategy

The UAE’s oil and gas company puts its faith in technologies including CCS and AI to deliver its emission-reduction goals

Emirati state-owned ADNOC boasted in late January of a reduction in the carbon-intensity of production at an onshore oilfield to an ‘industry-leading’ low of 0.1kgCO₂e/boe through the application of advanced technologies.
