Licensing round February update

The industry's most comprehensive list of current and recent rounds for onshore and offshore licences

Planned rounds Malaysia’s 2022 licensing round opened on 27 January and will close on a date yet to be decided. No further details are available. Open rounds India’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) has again extended the deadline for submissions to its Discovered Small Fields 3 bid round to 15 March 2022. The round, which contains 32 contract areas across both onshore and offshore, opened on 10 June 2021. Meanwhile, India’s seventh licensing round in its Open Acreage Licensing Programme opened on 16 December 2021 with a closing date of 15 February 2022.
