Petrobras puts three refineries back on sale
The RNEST, Repar and Refap facilities are open for offers again, but the divestment programme’s future is in doubt
Brazilian NOC Petrobras is once again attempting to sell three more refineries and associated infrastructure, after the sales process stalled last year. The NOC “has restarted the process for the sale” of the 130,000bl/d Abreu e Lima refinery (RNEST) in Pernambuco, the 208,000bl/d Presidente Getulio Vargas refinery (Repar) in Parana and the identically sized Alberto Pasqualini (Refap) refinery in Rio Grande do Sul, as well as associated logistical infrastructure such as pipelines, terminals and storage capacity.
